Preconstruction Manager - Civil Site Development

Overview Site Development Preconstruction Manager located in Charlotte. You will oversee estimating, budgeting, and preconstruction activities to deliver accurate cost projections, competitive bids, and strong coordination with clients, engineers, and subcontractors. Responsibilities Develop detailed and conceptual estimates for civil/site work projects (grading, utilities, earthwork, erosion control, etc.). Oversee budgeting and preconstruction activities to ensure accurate cost projections and competitive bids. Coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to align scope, pricing, and schedule. Evaluate geotechnical and design information to support cost estimation. Manage subcontractor pricing, identify risks, and propose value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies. Qualifications BS in a related field OR equivalent professional experience. 3+ years of estimating/preconstruction experience within the civil/site space. Experience with civil/site work projects such as grading, utilities, earthwork, erosion control, etc. Estimating Software: HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, EarthWorks, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other.
