Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) Night shift, Part-Time

Registered Nurse (RN) Position Centennial Peaks Hospital, located in Louisville, CO, provides psychiatric services to the Denver metropolitan area. The facility offers inpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and electroconvulsive therapy services. Responsibilities Provide assessment of patients’ psychiatric and medical status. Administer medication and medical treatment as prescribed by physician. Assess, direct, and intervene in crisis situations. Initiate and document special treatment procedures. Provide and direct milieu management. Document nursing care, treatment and patient’s response to treatment. Provide health education to patients. Ensure patient dignity and respect patient values. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. Shift Information Night shift: -hour shifts, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., alternating weekends, 2 shifts per week. This position is eligible for shift differentials. Weekend Day (Sat–Sun) $2/hr, Evening (Mon–Thu) $3/hr, Weekend Evening (Fri–Sun) $5/hr, Night (Mon–Thu) $5/hr, Weekend Night (Fri–Sun) $7/hr. Must work at least 3.5 hours into a shift to qualify. Current license to practice nursing in Colorado (or eligible to receive/renew). Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. One‑year prior psychiatric experience preferred. Ability to provide therapeutic care to patients with diverse mental health needs. Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships, age‑specific growth and development, limit‑setting, crisis and behavior management.
