## Continuous Improvement AssociateApplylocations: Newark, NY USAtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 3 Days Agojob requisition id: JR6538It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: • Support CI events by collecting data, documenting processes, and preparing basic reports to enable accurate analysis and follow-through on improvement activities. • Assist with process mapping, 5S activities, and waste identification to build foundational CI skills and contribute to project outcomes. • Maintain project documentation, standard work updates, and basic metrics to ensure visibility and sustainment of improvements. • Participate in kaizen events and improvement workshops to gain hands-on experience with Lean tools and team-based problem solving. • Monitor simple operational issues and escalate concerns appropriately to support timely resolution and maintain workflow stability. • Coordinate meeting logistics, materials, and communication for CI initiatives to ensure smooth execution of improvement activities. • Collaborate with team members across functions on assigned tasks to build cross-functional understanding and contribute to team progress. • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Education • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field preferred. • Basic Lean or Six Sigma training or certification preferred. Experience • 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement. • Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma concepts preferred. WORKING ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS Physical and/or Mental Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel office equipment, objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and identification, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The working environment is generally clean; however, this position may be exposed to occasional dust, metals/solder occasional exposure to high noise levels from operating machines or physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. The employee must wear designated PPE and/or electrostatic dissipative protection where required. Otherwise, office/business casual attire, consistent with site specific safety guidelines is appropriate.In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $63,000-$70,000 USD per year. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift.
