Pre-Op Department RN Position

5:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN to join the Pre-Op department. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients preparing for surgery, working effectively within a dynamic healthcare environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and document patient care accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and surgical teams.
• Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months PACU experience within the last 12 months.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved vendor.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
