Registered Nurse – Travel – Labor & Delivery

Provide high-quality nursing care for ante-partum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients during a 13-week assignment in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Deliver comprehensive support to mothers and newborns while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring patient safety. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality labor and delivery nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs continuously, documenting findings accurately.
• Assist with C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum procedures, supporting physicians and surgical teams.
• Manage high-risk mothers and newborns, including placenta accreta, pre-eclampsia, and massive transfusions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, ensure proper documentation, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• FHM certification
• At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Ability to float to Post-partum unit
• Strong assessment skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends

Preferred Skills:

• Previous travel experience
