You'll be entrusted with designing individualized learning plans and supporting diverse learners. Working approximately 35 hours per week through the school year, you'll become an integral part of the school’s efforts to promote inclusivity and child development.

What You’ll Need To Succeed:

• Active New Mexico teaching license
• NMPED credentials required
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
• Solid understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Ability to manage K-3rd grade caseloads, with a focus on social communication differences
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Adaptability and creativity in instructional delivery

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
• Deliver differentiated instruction in a K-3 classroom focused on social communication
• Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
