Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required due to home health travel.
• Two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute care or rehabilitation settings required. Home health experience preferred.
• Ability to perform clinical assessments, develop and document Plans of Care (POC), progress notes, and phone orders in accordance with agency and payer requirements.
• Experience with fabrication and maintenance of adaptive equipment and hand splints preferred.
• Ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and prolonged standing and walking as required in home health visits.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally for patient visits.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Home Health.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8.
• Start/End Dates: Travel assignment beginning May and extending through August timeframe (assignment length listed by client).
• Candidate responsibilities: Provide in-home assessments and interventions, fabricate adaptive equipment and hand splints, document POCs and progress notes, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Must be able to travel locally to patient homes. Floating to other service areas within the region may be required.
