Full-Time | On-Site | Primarily Day Shift

Medipack Pharmacy is seeking an experienced  Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to join our team in Winston-Salem, NC. This position plays an important role in accurately processing prescriptions and patient information within our long-term care pharmacy operation.

We’re looking for a  certified Pharmacy Technician with prior pharmacy data entry experience , with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in a  long-term care pharmacy, hospital, or other clinical pharmacy setting .

Schedule

• Full-time, primarily daytime operating shifts

• Weekend rotation approximately once every 5–6 weeks

• Flexibility to occasionally assist with 2nd shift and on-call coverage as needed

What You’ll Do

• Accurately enter and process prescriptions, patient profiles, medication orders, and related pharmacy information

• Review pharmacy data for completeness and accuracy

• Process insurance and billing information and assist with resolving claim issues

• Maintain accurate patient, medication, and order records

• Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other members of the pharmacy team to support an efficient workflow

• Assist with additional shift coverage when needed

• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow pharmacy policies and applicable regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician certification/registration required

• Prior pharmacy technician data entry experience required

• Long-term care pharmacy, hospital, or other clinical pharmacy experience preferred

• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pharmacy environment

• Experience with pharmacy software systems preferred
