Due to continued growth, we're seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering, controls, automation, and maintenance initiatives at one of its key manufacturing operations in Marietta, GA . What You'll Do Lead engineering, controls, automation, and maintenance initiatives for a high-volume manufacturing facility. Drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement across plant operations. Manage and develop engineering and maintenance personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Lead PLC programming, controls upgrades, troubleshooting, and automation projects. Partner with Operations, Production, Corporate Engineering, and Plant Leadership to improve productivity, safety, and equipment performance. Oversee capital projects from concept through installation and startup. Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies that maximize uptime. Analyze equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective actions. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards. Travel to company facilities to support projects, share best practices, and collaborate with engineering teams. Potentially up to 60% (though initially major work done in Marietta). What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred. Engineering leadership experience within a heavy manufacturing environment. Strong background in PLC programming, controls systems, industrial automation, and electrical troubleshooting. Experience leading maintenance and reliability programs. Proven ability to manage technical teams while developing future engineering talent. Knowledge of capital project management and equipment installations. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
