Job Title: Assembler - 2nd Shift
Job Description
This role involves assembling large commercial HVAC units in a modern manufacturing facility on the 2nd shift. You will work at a dedicated station on an assembly line, using hand and power tools to build high-quality air conditioning units for commercial buildings such as apartments, hospitals, and large facilities. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills in a structured, safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities
You will join a company that offers robust, day-one benefits upon conversion to a direct role, reflecting a strong commitment to employee well-being and long-term growth. Direct employees receive competitive pay progression, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, and access to HSA/FSA options. Retirement benefits include a 6% 401(k) match with immediate vesting, plus an additional 2% core contribution after three years. Time off is generous, with three weeks of vacation, 40 hours of sick time, nine paid holidays, and one floating holiday. Professional and personal development are supported through a Tuition Assistance Program, a Be Well Program, and a Fitness Reimbursement Program, fostering a culture that values health, education, and work-life balance.
Work Environment
The role is based in a modern, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility that assembles large HVAC units across multiple plants. The environment is very clean, with well-organized stations equipped with the tools needed for efficient assembly. You will work on the 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with a shift premium for this schedule. Testing stations and processes continue to evolve as newer buildings and plants come online, offering exposure to a growing and continuously improving operation. You will work alongside a supportive team and will shadow a lead technician during your first few weeks to ensure thorough training and onboarding. The work involves standing and moving around the facility for much of the shift, using hand and power tools, and occasionally climbing into large units, all within a structured, safety-focused environment.
