Senior Graphic Designer

Senior Graphic DesignerThe Senior Graphic Designer serves as the College’s lead creative professional and is responsible for developing high-quality visual communications that advance Talladega College’s mission, strategic priorities, and institutional brand. This position provides creative leadership for the design, production, and implementation of print, digital, multimedia, and environmental graphics that support recruitment, institutional advancement, enrollment management, academic affairs, athletics, student engagement, alumni relations, and presidential initiatives. The Senior Graphic Designer collaborates with faculty, staff, administrators, students, and external vendors to create compelling visual communications that enhance the College’s reputation and ensure brand consistency across all platforms. The position serves as a brand ambassador by maintaining the integrity of the College’s visual identity while utilizing innovative design strategies, emerging technologies, and multimedia storytelling to engage diverse audiences.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreative Strategy, Brand Management, and MarketingDigital Design, Multimedia, and Creative ContentCreative Project Leadership, Production, and AnalyticsMinimum Qualifications RequiredBachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, digital media, fine arts, marketing, communications, or a closely related field.Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible professional graphic design experience.Demonstrated expertise using Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.Demonstrated proficiency using Canva Pro and Microsoft Office 365.Experience designing for both print and digital media.Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence, brand development, and integrated marketing campaigns.Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Salary is competitive and commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.Application ProcessQualified applicants should submit:Talladega College Employment ApplicationCover LetterResume or Curriculum VitaeThree Professional ReferencesCopies of College Transcripts (official transcripts required upon hire)Portfolio or examples of communications, marketing, branding, or media work (preferred)Application materials should be submitted to: View email address on click.appcast.io.
