Housekeeping AideFairview is looking for a Housekeeping Aide at the Fairview Community Health and Wellness Hub in St. Paul! This position is casual and picks up shifts as needed. Housekeeping Aide will provide patients, visitors and staff with a clean and safe environment.Shift times available:7:00am - 3:30pm3:00pm - 11:30pmMaintains knowledge of, and follows, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standardsActively participates in crafting and implementing improvements to achieve positive clinical and efficient outcomesCleans all occupied rooms daily to create a sanitary and clean environmentPrepares discharge units and/or surgical procedure and completes end of day cleaning in surgical procedures rooms to provide a clean sanitary environment to the patientsMaintains and clean and attractive areas including: maintaining of hard surface and carpeted flooring, cleans offices and public areas, collects and disposes of refuse.Cleans up after emergency spills and breakages to prevent exposure to substances that could be safety hazardsMaintains and performs special work assignments and reports to supervisor upon completion to follow quality and frequency standards in department policy and procedure manualUnderstands the security requirements of medications and IV solutionsRestocks paper supplies upon daily cleaning of area to ensure they are adequately filled and maintains linen distribution system to provide user areas with adequate amounts of linen to give patient careMixes, uses supplies and maintains equipment to aid in cost containment and safetyRequired Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age.Preferred Qualifications & Other Required Skills:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation practices.Benefit OverviewAlthough this is considered a non-benefit eligible position, Fairview offers employees the option to participate in the Fairview 403(b) plan, earn Sick and Safe Time, and early access to earned wages.Compensation DisclaimerAn individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
