Registered Nurse Position At Moffitt Cancer Center Magnolia

We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse for our 3 North unit at Moffitt Cancer Center Magnolia. This 22-bed tele med-surg unit with all private rooms. Our patient population ranges from young adults to older adults, and we care for two specialty groups: NucRad patients, who receive IV nuclear medicine treatments for ocular melanoma and Brachy patients, who receive pinpointed radiation therapy and typically have a short length of stay. Overall, our patients are those undergoing treatment who've experienced a setback and need additional support. This environment offers a great opportunity to strengthen your assessment skills, as we encounter all organ systemsnot just single-system disease processes.

Position Highlights

• Deliver individualized quality nursing care to cancer patients and families in accordance with established hospital guidelines, nursing professional practice model, nursing care standards and policies and in accordance with ANA code of ethics and external regulatory agencies.
• Embody the vision, mission, and philosophy of Moffitt Nursing and are committed to and accountable for personalized patient and family centered care and the concepts of Duffy's quality caring model/caring factors.
• Use the nursing process to effectively plan and manage quality patient care. Biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning needs are addressed in all steps of the nursing process.

The Ideal Candidate

• The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• 1 year of inpatient hospital experience
• Medical Surgery experience as a registered nurse

Credentials And Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing
• In lieu of Bachelors, an Associate's degree in Nursing plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered
• Preferred Education-Master's Degree
• Registered Nurse (RN) RN-Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of FL, or a valid Multi-State privilege to practice in FL (must declare FL as primary State of residence within 30 days from date of hire if licensed in another eNLC compact state with multi-state privileges)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Salary Range

$36.63 - $54.93

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
