Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician Join a Growing Medicare Pharmacy Appeals Team Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician looking for a fully remote opportunity where your expertise can directly impact patient care? In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring Medicare Part D appeals are processed accurately and efficiently, helping members receive timely access to the medications they need. • Contact providers, pharmacies, and healthcare offices to gather clinical information needed for Medicare Part D appeal reviews.
• Support prior authorization and appeals processes through pharmacy technician-level case review and documentation.
• Accurately maintain and update case information across multiple systems.
• Manage a high-volume workload while meeting established turnaround times and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Consistently achieve quality, productivity, and performance goals.

Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Active State Board of Pharmacy Technician License/Registration.
• At least 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Microsoft Office experience, including:
• Outlook (email and calendar management)
• Word (document creation and editing)
• Excel (data sorting, spreadsheet editing, basic formulas, and VLOOKUP functions)

Schedule Work schedules fall between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM Pacific Time. Team members will also participate in alternating Saturday shifts (8 hours) as part of the regular schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
