Forklift Driver/OperatorSanta Fe Springs, CaliforniaType: Temp to HireManufacturing/ProductionSalary: $18 Per HourJob Description Forklift Driver/Operator As a key member of the production team, this role ensures continuous workflow by maintaining a steady supply of materials to the production line. The individual in this position collaborates closely with team members and leverages their knowledge to support others, contributing to overall efficiency and operational success.Responsibilities:Operate all warehouse equipment required to transfer finished goods and other products to the appropriate areas. All warehouse equipment includes, forklift, clamp truck, etc.Load and unload trucks efficiently in accordance with department standards.Stock all goods in a safe and stable mannerCommunication pertinent information to relief at shift changeFollow all safety policies and proceduresMaintain work area in an organized, safe and clean manner, Knowledge of 6s a plusKnow locations and how to operate emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishersComplete forklift checklistMonitor and record all products returned/receivedCheck accuracy of finished product count on pallets, product ID, ensure all pallets only have one Port Ticket on them when removing from linesFill forklift propane tank at end of shiftAccurate Cycle counts as designated by the Team LeadersEffective organization and staging of materials to support the accuracy of inventories.All other job duties as directed by Team LeaderKnowledge of LOTO procedures is a plusRequirements (Qualifications):Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to and including 1 year of related training or experienceMust obtain Lift Truck LicenseMust obtain a valid State Driver's LicenseMust not have any active step-two write upsMust have less than 4 attendance pointsMust have 2 or more years experience with sit down forkliftsTemporary to Hire1st shift 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM2nd shift: 2:00PM-10:30PM3rd shift 10:00 PM- 6:30 AM$18.00-$20.00/hr DOEBackground check- Drug Test- E-VerifySteel toes required.Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670Please send resumes to View email address on click.appcast.io and View email address on click.appcast.io employees of Elite Staffing must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.Elite Staffing, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
