Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Financial Services team in the role of Financial Management Advisor. Job Description Analyze complex financial data to drive operational improvement and serve as a subject matter expert in key financial areas. Advise business units on financial performance and impacts of decisions. Work closely with executive leadership to define financial objectives, risk tolerance, income, expenses, and assets. Coordinate and support the system financial team in providing actionable information (analysis, reporting, pro formas) to aid operational and strategic decision‑making. Oversee month‑end processes, ensuring results align with GAAP. Provide analytical and consultative support to departmental and service line management and key stakeholders. Analyze diverse data sets—financial, operational, clinical, economic—to support strategic and operational decisions. Interpret financial information on costs, prices, expenses, revenues and clinical/operational metrics to recommend actions to senior management. Conduct and document complex analysis projects and develop forecasts based on economic indicators. Serve as a technical lead on complex analysis projects, primarily as an individual contributor. Key Relationships Reports to: Executive Director‑Finance Candidate Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree is required. 5‑7 years of relevant experience. Degree in Finance or related field is a plus. Experience in financial or operational analysis. Analytical experience working with complex data sets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel experience required; relational database and financial/operational modeling experience is a plus.
