Job Title: Rehabilitation Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Experience in rehabilitation nursing - Ability to provide care for adult and geriatric patients - Strong communication and teamwork skills Description: This position is for a Rehabilitation Nurse in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. The facility has 52 beds dedicated to treating individuals recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. Rehabilitation programs focus on ongoing care and specialized treatment. Patients typically recover from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. The goal is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. The nurse will work a 3-day weekly schedule with guaranteed hours. The RN will be part of a team that ensures optimal patient outcomes while adhering to safety and quality standards. Floating to different units is required. This role involves maintaining a patient ratio of 1:5. Experience with Electronic Health Records is preferred. Candidates should possess the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
