Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments, to establish a clear understanding of each client's needs. \n
- Collaborate with clients to devise tailored treatment plans that address their unique goals and incorporate cultural considerations, ensuring that each experience is individualized. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions in various settings including individual therapy, couples counseling, family sessions, and group therapy. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services tailored to the urgent needs of clients in distress, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to guarantee continuous care. \n
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, ensuring that all progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries comply with regulatory standards and clinic policies. \n
- Implement psychoeducation strategies to empower clients and their families, equipping them with skills to effectively manage mental health issues. \n
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to enhance comprehensive patient care. \n
- Regularly assess treatment effectiveness by conducting outcome measures, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans based on client feedback. \n
- Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health, integrating new findings into your clinical work to continually improve client treatment. \n
- Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines while maintaining confidentiality and privacy of patient information. \n
The clients you will serve are primarily individuals who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, and various behavioral health issues. You will work with clients from varied demographics, ensuring that their unique cultural perspectives are honored throughout the therapy process.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid and active license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland. \n
- Strong capacity to work independently while also thriving within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. \n

- A minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field is required. \n
- Experience using trauma-informed care methodologies is favored, along with familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques. \n

- Competitive annual salary range between $70,000 and $84,000, commensurate with experience, education, and overall skill level. \n
