Your Role:The Senior Rebate Analyst is responsible for the administration, financial analysis, and governance of rebates, fees, and discounts related to EMD Serono’s contracted Market Access accounts. This role ensures timely and accurate rebate processing while driving financial insight, revenue integrity, and process optimization across the revenue management lifecycle.In addition to preparing and validating complex payment packages, the Senior Rebate Analyst provides critical analysis of contract performance, financial trends, and revenue impacts. This role proactively identifies discrepancies, risks, and forecast variances, partnering with Finance, Brand, Contracting, Pricing & Analytics, and Insights to drive resolution and long-term stability. The Senior Rebate Analyst leads contract configuration and maintenance within the Model N Revenue Management System, influences process improvements, and develops internal reporting tools to inform decision-making at all levels. Outputs from this role are regularly reviewed by senior leadership and directly impact financial reporting and revenue recognition.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Maintain expert-level knowledge of Model N Revenue Management System to process, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize rebate payment packages.Lead preparation and validation of rebate payment documentation, including original data submissions, validation, recalculations, and contract interpretation for approval and disbursement.Analyze quarter-over-quarter trends, forecast variances, and customer performance against contractual benchmarks; provide actionable insights to stakeholders.Identify revenue risks, data inconsistencies, and process gaps, drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.Lead contract set-up, configuration, and maintenance in Model N to ensure accurate financial execution and compliance with contractual terms.Develop and enhance dashboards and reporting tools to provide transparency into rebate liabilities, performance trends, and financial exposure.Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned accounts, managing complex contractual structures and unique reimbursement dynamics.Influence cross-functional stakeholders through fact-based recommendations and financial insight.Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, controls, and scalability within rebate operations.Maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency, compliance, and knowledge transfer.Mentor team members on account complexity, system functionality, and analytical best practices.Onsite 1 day per week in Boston, MA office Travel up to 5% - domestic conferences Who You Are:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Healthcare, or similar discipline 1+ years of industry experience in accounting, finance, revenue management, managed care rebates, or complex reimbursement systems.Preferred Qualifications:Experienced with Model N revenue management systems 3+ years of experience in managed care rebates, revenue management, accounting, or complex reimbursement systems.Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze contractual terms and assess revenue implications.Demonstrated experience working with utilization data and interpreting contractual metrics.Advanced analytical and investigational skills with ability to perform root cause analysis.Excellent understanding of healthcare, pharmaceutical, managed care, and provider industry dynamics.Proven ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workflows with accuracy and sound judgment.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to communicate openly and share information to foster trust while encouraging constructive debate, making informed decisions, and ensuring shared commitment to outcomes.Demonstrated willingness to take risks and stand up for what is right while prioritizing the needs and experiences of customers and patients in all decisions.Commitment to setting and reaching ambitious goals and setting high standards while acting in the best interest of the company and taking initiative to drive results.Uphold ethical standards and being honest in all interactions.Ability to streamline processes to focus on what matters, create impact, and act quickly to adapt to changes.Demonstrated ability to embrace new ideas, challenge the status quo, and seek innovative solutions while valuing diverse perspectives and treating others with respect and dignity.Pay Range for this position: $82,100-$123,100 per yearThe offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
