About the Opportunity

We are seeking professionals with hands-on expertise in standalone tension and load measurement devices used in U.S. commercial construction. This role involves sharing your expertise on device selection, utilization, assessment, procurement decisions, and market dynamics—or with potential to inform—how load measurement solutions can better serve construction operations. Your insights will help us understand device applications, decision-making factors, market needs, and opportunities for improved solutions in commercial construction settings. This is a flexible consulting engagement that can be completed alongside full-time employment. Time commitment is based entirely on your availability and schedule.

Relevant Experience

  • Operating, selecting, or managing standalone tension and load measurement devices on commercial construction sites.
  • Evaluating and comparing standalone devices versus built-in weight indication systems for construction applications.
  • Understanding device applications, accuracy requirements, and operational integration in construction workflows.
  • Making or influencing procurement decisions for load measurement equipment at construction sites.
  • Collaborating with construction teams on equipment selection, safety protocols, and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of equipment rental, procurement processes, and vendor relationships in commercial construction.
  • Understanding factors that drive device selection (cost, accuracy, portability, durability, ease of use).

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in commercial construction operations, equipment management, procurement, or construction site supervision.
  • Hands-on experience with standalone tension and load measurement devices in construction settings highly valued.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction industry practices, safety standards, and equipment requirements.
