Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Family Law Attorney in Upper Marlboro, MD. Duties Champion clients in custody, divorce, child support, and protective order matters. Manage complex cases from inception through resolution. Represent clients in court with confidence and precision. Develop strategic litigation plans to protect client interests. Conduct client meetings and provide compassionate legal counsel. Maintain accurate and timely case files. Build and sustain strong client relationships. Approach sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism. Mentor and guide attorneys and paralegals. Monitor compliance with KPIs and workflow standards. Ensure accurate and current billables. Collaborate with the Managing Attorney and Operations team. Contribute to a high-quality client experience. Requirements 15+ years of Family Law litigation experience. Active Maryland and D.C. licenses. Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Member of state and local bar associations in good standing. Skills Exceptional written and oral communication. Leadership instincts with clarity and empathy.
