Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,016 per week

GHR Healthcare is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13‑week travel assignment in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Job Details Assignment type: Travel Nurse – Perioperative / Operating Room Location: Fayetteville, AR 72704 Start date: 5/11/2026 End date: 8/10/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days – 4 x 10‑hour shifts (Tuesday–Friday, 6:00 am–4:30 pm) Weekly hours: 40 Estimated weekly pay: $1,800 – $1,890 Qualifications Active RN license (must hold or be able to obtain an Arkansas RN license) Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Minimum 2 years of recent operating room RN experience, including orthopedics, plastic surgery, and OB/GYN cases Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills CNOR certification preferred Responsibilities Provide perioperative patient care in the operating room, anticipating needs and demonstrating critical thinking and leadership. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and nursing staff to ensure safe, efficient care. Prepare and maintain surgical supplies, instrumentation, and equipment for a variety of procedures (orthopedic, plastic, OB/GYN). Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases and function in circulating and scrub nurse roles as needed. Communicate with patient families, update physician preference cards, and document perioperative care accurately. Supervise and support personnel delivering patient care in the OR and help maintain AORN, hospital policy, and regulatory standards. Adhere to State Nurse Practice Act and facility‑specific protocols to ensure compliance and patient safety.
