The Global Communications team is a nimble team in Enterprise Services and Public Affairs that covers a broad scope of responsibilities, ranging from Executive communications and public engagements to quarterly earnings and corporate reputation programs as well as communications that support our lines of business. The nature of the work provides a dynamic environment where members of the team serve as company spokespeople to media, drive engagement with colleagues and develop external and internal digital communications for a global workforce of more than 200,000 colleagues. Within Citi, the team works with many internal partners, including senior leadership, and regularly coordinates closely with other members of the Public Affairs team across the world. We always bring a client service attitude to our work and strive to be energetic and maintain a good sense of humor.About the RoleThe Vice President of Communications Operations and Business Management is a key member of the Communications organization. You will work with senior leadership and partners throughout the Communications team, Enterprise Services and Public Affairs, and across the global functions to support and further develop key programs that drive strong operations and business management capabilities in the global organization, with a focus on our risk and controls and governance activities.Responsibilities:In partnership with members of the Communications Operations and Business Management team and functional partners, support activities and global testing that strengthen operational processes, governance and audit-readinessLead Audit-related efforts, records management activities and issues management for Communications globallyPartner closely with Communications leadership and teams to inform and advise on both ongoing operations work and to identify areas of opportunityIn partnership with the Senior Vice President, support vendor management onboarding and renewal activities, and global strategy implementationSupport the development and implementation of Communications-specific development programs for the team globally Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business management, communications, or another related fieldKnowledge of communications or marketing and 4-6 years of increased responsibility for business management, preferably with a large and complex organizationStrong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executivesAffinity working through complex initiatives and translating them for a broader audience’s understandingExperience or competency in navigating a controls and governance environmentComfort operating in the unknown and determining a strategic path forwardIntegrity, maturity, dependability, and a positive professional attitudeA team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to contributeExcellent organizational and project management skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based, multi-time zone organizationTrack record of success delivering high-quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environmentCritical Competencies:Excellent prioritization skills, nimbleness and ability to juggle multiple projects at onceDemonstrated ability to quickly gain command of new and complex systemsProject management aptitudeStrategic and analytical thinkerResults orientedPositive can-do attitude------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Communications and External Relations------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Communications Management------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$129,840.00 - $194,760.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
