Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (Cath Lab RN)

Location - Mission Hills

Duration - 13 weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a Magnet-designated Acute Care Hospital. Candidates must have prior Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory experience and be comfortable participating in an active call rotation supporting emergent and scheduled cardiac procedures.

Required Certifications:

ACLS

Required Experience:

Previous Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Experience
Cardiac Procedure Patient Care
Hemodynamic Monitoring
Emergency Cardiac Response
Moderate Sedation Monitoring

On-Call Requirements:

Approximately 5-6 Call Shifts Every 2 Weeks
Every Other Weekend Call Rotation
- Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
One Additional Weekday Call Shift
30-Minute Response Time Required

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Assist physicians during cardiac interventions
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams
