Position Summary
The Senior Business Analyst / Scrum Master will bridge business needs and technology solutions while facilitating Agile delivery practices. This role is responsible for requirements gathering backlog management stakeholder collaboration sprint facilitation and ensuring successful delivery of business and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather analyze document and validate business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories workflows and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives and backlog grooming.
- Collaborate with product owners developers QA teams and business stakeholders.
- Manage sprint execution and remove impediments impacting team productivity.
- Support release planning prioritization and roadmap development.
- Create business process models data flow diagrams and process improvement recommendations.
- Ensure requirements traceability and alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor project progress risks dependencies and team velocity.
- Support UAT coordination and stakeholder communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems or related field.
- 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of Agile Scrum Kanban and SDLC methodologies.
- Experience with Jira Confluence Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) SAFe Scrum Master or PMI-ACP certification.
- Experience in digital transformation enterprise applications or cloud environments.
- Knowledge of SQL APIs and system integration concepts preferred.
