Job TitleThis position is considered a Safety-Sensitive position. Applicants who pass the interview process will be subject to drug and alcohol testing.Job DescriptionThe purpose of this class within the organization is to maintain the overall cleanliness of the facility and surrounding grounds and set-up for activities and meetings.Essential DutiesEssential Functions:Must be able to communicate with others in spoken and written English to ensure the safe and efficient operations of the business.Opens and closes building; prepares building for day activity; ensures building is secure at closing.Maintains and cleans restrooms, drinking fountains and kitchen in a sanitary mannerRemoves litter and waste paper from inside the building and on the surrounding grounds; cares for and waters plants.Replaces soap and paper products in dispensers, sweeps, mops, and waxes floors and stairwells on a routine basis; vacuums and cleans carpets.Cleans windows; changes light bulbs and air filters as needed.Sets up and takes down for meetings and carries equipment, tables, chairs and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
