Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position located in a medical facility's emergency department in Kingwood, Texas. This role involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including trauma care, blood draws, resuscitation, EKG procedures, and other acute emergency interventions. The position requires active participation in a team dedicated to delivering high-quality, efficient emergency services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess current certifications in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support). The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience working in an emergency room setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma procedures and a personable, active personality are preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves working four weekend shifts per month; ON-CALL is not required. The unit has a capacity of 28 beds, staffed with 15 members on shift, including charge RNs, technicians, and a unit secretary. The typical patient ratio is 4:1. The environment uses Meditech electronic medical records (EMR) and adheres to specific unit policies and guidelines.
