Title: Mechanical (Thermal) Design Engineer
Location : Pelzer, SC
Job Summary
- Design HVAC, thermal, and ventilation systems for modular data centers and power modules.
- Develop mechanical layouts and equipment arrangements for critical infrastructure projects.
- Perform thermal calculations and basic CFD analysis to support system performance.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC, cooling, and ventilation systems for data center applications.
- Create mechanical layouts, construction drawings, and equipment specifications.
- Perform thermal analysis and support system sizing and equipment selection.
- Collaborate with electrical, structural, fire protection, and commissioning teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of Mechanical Design Engineering experience.
- Experience with HVAC systems, thermal design, and construction drawings.
- Data Center or Modular design experience preferred; PE License is a plus.
