General Manager — Hotel Bar & Restaurant | Neenah, Wisconsin

About the role: We're hiring a General Manager to lead the full food and beverage operation at a busy hotel bar and restaurant in Neenah, Wisconsin. You'll own the floor, the numbers, and the team. This is senior hospitality leadership for someone who knows that great operations don't happen by accident. They happen because someone sets the standard and holds the line every single shift.

A strong restaurant and bar runs on more than good food and a busy room. It runs on leadership. We need a General Manager who can build a capable team, protect the guest experience, and deliver the business results that keep the operation healthy. You'll be the person who connects the kitchen, the bar, the front of house, and hotel leadership into one operation that performs.

What you'll manage

• Lead daily operations across the restaurant and bar, setting the pace and the standard for service.
• Hire, coach, and develop managers and staff, building a team that performs and stays.
• Own the P&L, including revenue, food and beverage cost, labor cost, and profitability targets.
• Manage labor through smart scheduling that matches guest demand and protects margins.
• Hold service standards high, so every guest gets a reason to come back.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to control cost and limit waste.
• Maintain full compliance with Wisconsin alcohol service laws, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate with hotel leadership to keep food and beverage aligned with the larger guest experience.
• Use POS data, cost reports, and sales trends to make decisions, not guesses.
• Resolve guest concerns directly and turn hard moments into loyalty.

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality operation, with full P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to hire, lead, coach, and retain a management team and hourly staff.
• Strong command of food and beverage cost control, labor management, and profitability.
• Working knowledge of Wisconsin responsible alcohol service requirements and food safety standards.
• Comfortable with POS systems, scheduling tools, and financial reporting.
• Calm, organized, and decisive under the real pressure of a full house.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred experience

• Experience leading food and beverage inside a hotel or resort environment.
• A track record of growing revenue, improving margins, or lowering turnover.
• Familiarity with cocktail programs, craft beer, and wine, including local Wisconsin offerings.
• Experience building or refining service standards and operational systems.

Work setup

On-site leadership role with a mix of day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts based on business needs. Standing, walking, and moving through the operation are part of the job.
