Therapist - Occupational Therapist

$2611.20/week -

Job Summary:

Plans and delivers occupational therapy treatments aimed at restoring and enhancing patients' physical, social, and mental functions. Collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and establish individualized treatment goals.
  
  
• 
  Utilize appropriate clinical techniques and tools to deliver effective therapy interventions.
  
  
• 
  Develop and communicate personalized care and discharge plans to patients and relevant team members.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and within established deadlines.
  
  
• 
  Supervise and mentor assigned therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to clinical standards.
  
  
• 
  Perform additional job-related duties as required to support patient care and department objectives.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD).
  
  
• 
  Obtain and maintain current occupational therapy licensure in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
  
  
• 
  Have at least two years of recent occupational therapy experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system.
  
  
• 
  Be able to perform in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring flexibility and excellent communication skills.
