Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date 08/24/2026 for an 8-week assignment. Guaranteed hours: 48 per week with a weekly pay range of $2,101 to $2,187. Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Setting: Short-term acute care hospital. This travel temporary assignment is supported by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for ICU patients using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, administer medications, and coordinate timely interventions.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across multiple levels; delegate responsibilities and ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families; participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
- Provide education and information to patients and families; maintain thorough, accurate documentation.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control practices and established hospital policies.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (state of practice) is required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- BSN degree preferred; not mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/acute care experience.
- EPIC and Cerner experience preferred.
- Ability to work the night shift in a fast-paced ICU setting.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care in a multidisciplinary environment.
