Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician in Richmond, Indiana - One Weekend Per Month, Emergent Cases Only

Cover one weekend per month providing inpatient and emergency cardiothoracic surgery call. This assignment focuses on emergent cases with predictable weekend coverage and advanced practice provider support.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient cardiothoracic surgery coverage with rounding as needed
• Inpatient and emergency department call responsibilities
• Adult patient population with varying trauma acuity
• Emergency procedures only during call coverage

Schedule

• Saturday 7:00 a.m. through Monday 7:00 a.m.
• Weekend call coverage
• Typically one weekend per month
• Inpatient and emergency department call responsibilities throughout the weekend

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Indiana medical license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
• Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery CAQ required
