Manufacturing Controller

Key Duties

• Financial Management & Reporting: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures. Produce detailed financial documents and performance summaries for top management.
• Company Accounting: Supervise general accounting, cost accounting, and cash flow supervision. Manage external audits and oversee banking partnerships.
• Multiple Entity & Expense Oversight: Manage financial records for various company entities. Direct intricate inventory and cost accounting systems used in manufacturing.
• Operational Evaluation: Track departmental accomplishments, assess productivity metrics, and pinpoint cost-saving chances in operations and procurement.
• Administrative Leadership: Manage standard corporate risk management, including commercial insurance and typical corporate benefits administration.
• Team Management: Guide and nurture the internal accounting and procurement team members.

Requirements and Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Additional qualifications like CPA/CMA certification are beneficial.
• Work Experience:
• At least 5 years of experience as a Controller or in a similar senior finance position in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in cost accounting and corporate finance.
• Technical Abilities:
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard financial software.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, corporate payroll tools, and fixed asset software.
• Previous experience in ERP system implementation or migration is an advantage.
• Seeking candidates who can easily commute to Fort Wayne.
