Job Description The Delivery Assistant is a physical, fast‑paced position supporting a McLane Delivery Driver. The role does not involve driving; responsibilities include bending, lifting, walking, loading/unloading, and customer service. Responsibilities Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2‑wheel dolly. Place delivery items in customer‑designated food‑safe storage areas. Assist the driver to ensure accurate and on‑time deliveries. Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Ability to lift and move products and pallets up to 75 pounds. Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently to perform job‑related tasks safely. Benefits Pay rate: $26.44 per hour.
