This is an onsite position. As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure software application architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards
- Ensure software solutions are aligned with business and technical requirements
- Provide technical expertise and direction for project
- Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines
- Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy
- Serve in a variety of technical roles throughout the development lifecycle or operational support with specialty in the area of developing and maintaining enterprise architecture
- BA/BS degree or High School Diploma and 6 years of additional relevant experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of Project Management
- Experience with Agile processes, iterative design, and continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Masters Degree
- Demonstrated experience in architecting large scale distributed platform
- Familiarity with Big Data Platforms (BDPs)
- Experience working with government programs
- Must have a current and active Secret clearance
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
