If you are looking to begin your career in bartending, or are passionate about beer and barbecue, come apply to be our new bartender for TWAIN: The Missouri Taproom.

We are looking for positive, flexible, and passionate Bartenders to join us in this next adventure. During the onboarding process, you will experience a week-long training session, involving menu tastings, steps of service training, as well as cleaning and reorganizing for successful service.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service: Welcome guests, provide attentive service, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.

Bartending: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while following all responsible service guidelines.

Operations: Accurately operate the POS system, process payments, and maintain organization behind the bar.

Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized bar and service area while following all local hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.

Teamwork: Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and fellow bartenders to ensure smooth and efficient service. Wear your uniform with pride and assist with additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Friendly, customer-focused approach
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Responsible, dependable, and trustworthy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must obtain:
• Boone County Food Handler Card
• Missouri Alcohol Responsibility Training Certification

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to provide documentation for Form I-9 to verify identity and employment authorization.
• Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and/or drug screening.
• Must have a bank account for direct deposit.
• Must be 21 and over.
• Availability requirements: must be available for two day shifts per week, at minimum must be available to work weekends, including home football games.
