Finishing OperatorIn this role, the job holder will be responsible for processing material in accordance with applicable work and manufacturing instructions and direction from the area manager of the respective Finishing department. Shift Applicants may be considered for either First, Second, or Third shift. 1st Shift: 6:30 AM—2:30 PM I Monday-Friday 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM—10:30 PM I Monday-Friday 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM—6:30 AM I Thursday-Sunday Essential Duties and Responsibilities Washer and tilt table – wash item and then cool on tilt table. Processing purcoat/parylene product. Autoclave and bake, further curing of rubber through heat and steam. Silicone-stoppers are silicone coated per customer specifications. Pep II-stoppers treated in chemical solution. Metal Detection-stoppers are scanned for metal particles. Weigh up and packing. Belt D-disk. Reinspection of Quality Inspection rejects. Use good housekeeping practices to maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area. Follow all safety rules and safety procedures. Performs other duties, as assigned based on business needs. Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules. Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance. Other duties as assigned.Education High School Diploma or GED required. Work Experience No min required. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Computer skills. Solid language skills, both written and spoken. Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description. Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target. High degree of reliability, sense of duty and responsibility, in particular recognition as well as proactive acceptance of tasks to be completed. Travel Requirements None: No travel required Physical Requirements Medium-Exerting up to 50lb/22kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs/4kgs of force constantly to move objects. Additional Requirements Willingness to work in a fully continuous shift system.
