Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate food professional ready to take ownership of a dynamic kitchen environment. Responsibilities: Assist 1st Sous Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food production 45 to 50 hour work week; two day off; AM, PM and weekend availability Supervise, train, and mentor line cooks and kitchen staff to maintain high performance standards Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control across all menu items Manage inventory, food ordering, and cost control to meet budgetary goals Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance at all times Assist in menu development, recipe creation, and seasonal menu updates Coordinate kitchen scheduling and manage labor efficiency during service Requirements: 2+ years of experience in a Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef, or similar culinary leadership role Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and culinary best practices Proven ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team in a high-volume environment Experience with inventory management, food costing, and ordering ServSafe certification or equivalent food handler's certification preferred Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays About Us: The Parish is a proud part of the Tucson, AZ dining scene, committed to delivering outstanding food and memorable guest experiences.
