Job Openings Position: Lead Resident Maintenance Technician Location: Lyndhurst, NJ Job Id: 2085 # of Openings: 1 Lead Resident Maintenance Technician Pay Range: $54 - $58 (based on experience) The essential functions of the maintenance technician are to act as a representative of Trew by providing excellent customer service through execution and completion of reactive and scheduled maintenance tasks assigned by the service manager or other supervisors. This role is for you if… You love keeping customers happy You enjoy hands on problem solving You are detail oriented and have experience with Mechanical and Electrical industrial maintenance You will be… Following all company safety plans Providing superior Customer Experience Providing operational support of material handling equipment (MHE) Performing Mechanical and Electrical preventative and corrective maintenance Creating, updating and completing work orders Advising your supervisor of potential hazards (safety and operational) Available as needed for emergency calls and periodic overtimeSupporting and assisting project work The on‑site, Key 2 contact and escalation point for any downtime events or customer concerns Assisting with Key 2 technician scheduling for call offs and customer change requests Overseeing PM Schedule compliance from Key 2 technicians Assisting supervisor with reviews of Key 2 technicians Assisting supervisor with training of Key 2 technicians Assisting supervisor with reporting when necessary You will need… High attention to detail exceptional organizational skills Experience testing and maintaining electrical equipment using hand and power tools Experience diagnosing malfunctioning systems to locate problems and make repairs Experience inspecting electrical systems and their connections to identify hazards Ability to use software programs such as MS Office, CMMS, etc… Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner Effective verbal and written communication skills with leadership, colleagues and other internal and external contacts Ability to exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others along with the ability to maintain constructive working relationships Ability to prioritize to meet customer expectations Thorough knowledge of parts inventory location and use Ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week as required While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee will frequently lift on average 25‑50 lbs throughout the course of a business day. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
