Our Diesel Mechanics / Technicians perform various types of repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty trucks and equipment, collaborating with other team members while helping to promote a safe work environment.

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Reading work orders and collaborating with the service manager to evaluate the tasks required.

· Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issues

· Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions

· Inspect and repair/replace vehicle systems (based on abilities), including engines, drivetrain, hydraulic, fuel, air, electrical, HVAC, brakes and suspension.

· Conducting field visits or service calls in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown.

· Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge performance.

· Performing DOT inspections (will assist in completion of certification).

· Maintaining work order records of parts inventory, work completed and serviced vehicles.

· Maintain a clean and professional work setting including tools, equipment, shop and service vehicle.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $48.00 per hour

Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* Overtime

Experience:
* Mechanic experience: 1 year (Preferred)
* Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
* Easton, MN: Relocate before starting work (Required)
