Job Purpose

The Site Quality Leader is responsible for establishing and driving a culture of quality excellence across the Fargo manufacturing site. This role provides strategic leadership to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, operational performance, and business results by aligning quality initiatives across Product Design, Manufacturing Operations, Process Engineering, and Customer Service.

As a member of the site leadership team, the Site Quality Leader champions continuous improvement, root cause problem-solving, advanced quality planning, and quality management systems to ensure products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations. This position plays a critical role in developing organizational quality capabilities, implementing standardized quality practices, and advancing CNH's commitment to building products right the first time.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Quality Leadership

• Partner with site leadership to establish and execute ambitious quality objectives for both new and existing products.
• Develop and maintain a site-wide quality strategy aligned with CNH Product and Service Quality goals.
• Foster a customer-focused culture that prioritizes defect prevention, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement

• Lead the implementation and sustainment of effective Quality Daily Management Systems within the CNH Business System (CBS+).
• Drive structured root cause problem-solving methodologies to eliminate recurring quality issues.
• Lead Quality Lab and Compass Room activities focused on identifying systemic issues and implementing permanent corrective actions.
• Facilitate monthly operating reviews to evaluate quality performance, resource allocation, and improvement progress.

Quality Assurance & Process Control

• Oversee development and deployment of robust quality control systems, including:
• Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
• Calibration programs
• Compliance and systems auditing
• Process control plans
• Inspection, testing, and containment processes
• Ensure process validation activities are completed effectively for new products, processes, and services.
• Support implementation of mistake-proofing technologies, visual management tools, and defect prevention strategies.

Advanced Quality Planning

• Collaborate with Global Product Quality teams to accelerate quality improvements through:
• Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA/PFMEA)
• Control Plan development and management
• Design Standards and Design Control Plans
• Design for Manufacturability, Reliability, Serviceability, and Cost
• Ensure quality risks are proactively identified, assessed, and mitigated throughout the product lifecycle.

Organizational Capability Development

• Evaluate quality engineering and technical skill gaps and implement development plans to strengthen organizational capability.
• Promote adoption of regional and global quality best practices and standard work.
• Mentor quality engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to build sustainable quality competencies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Operate as a collaborative business leader working across Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
• Align priorities and action plans to achieve customer quality, reliability, and profitability objectives.
• Drive shared accountability for quality outcomes across the organization.

Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical discipline.
• Eight (8) or more years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Four (4) or more years of leadership or people management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading quality improvement initiatives and implementing quality management systems.

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is $137,000 - $185,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
