This role is responsible for supervising daily field activities, coordinating crews, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, OSHA regulations, and applicable electrical codes.The Electrical Foreman works closely with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel to coordinate manpower, manage material needs, and resolve field challenges while maintaining productivity and quality. This position is responsible for directing electricians and apprentices, assisting with construction scheduling, coordinating material orders, documenting testing and troubleshooting results, and ensuring electrical installations are completed according to project specifications and industry standards.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesTest electrical systems using tools to determine where issues may be occurring, the safety of the system and to ensure compatibilityDocument actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situationDetermine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation and troubleshoot using testing devices, blueprints and mapsMaintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to supervisorRequiredHigh school diploma or GED required.Current Texas State electrical journeyman licenseMinimum 4 years documented field work or completion of 4-year electrical apprentice programExcellent understanding of the electrical industryPrevious foreman, leadman, or supervisory experience preferred.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
