Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Responsible for comprehensive knowledge of menu items and drinks.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, including the dining area, tables, chairs, service stations, floors, entryway, and outdoor dining space.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Provide exceptional guest services by anticipating needs and responding to requests.

Requirements for candidates:

• 2+ years of previous experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency.
• Knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the team.

Preferred candidates will have:

• Recent experience in the restaurant industry.
• Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
• Beyond a basic knowledge of craft beer.
• Beyond a basic knowledge of fine wine.
• Previous bartending experience is a plus.

This is a tipped position. Hourly rate listed includes estimated tips.
