Registered Nurse (RN) In Emergency Department (ED)

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Department (ED) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience working in an Emergency Department environment, with experience within the past six months. License: Valid state professional registered nurse license or multi-state compact license. Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS - Telemetry - PALS - NIHSS - CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours) Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Our Emergency Department RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, we need our ED RNs to handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. Our Emergency Department nurses are trained to deal with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal prospective ED RNs must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions. They should prioritize their injuries and medical needs accordingly. Every other weekend and holidays are required as needed. No on-call or float requirements. Scrub color is navy.
