Join our dietary team as a Cook and help prepare and serve nutritious, delicious meals that meet the needs of our residents. Whether you're an early riser or prefer evening hours, we have a shift for you!
- Open or close the kitchen and operate equipment safely
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines
- Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure safety
- Supervise dietary aides and maintain food quality standards
- Set up hydration and hospitality carts
- Clean steam tables, prep areas, and kitchen equipment
- Wash pots and pans, sweep, and follow daily cleaning schedules
- Complete pre-prep tasks for upcoming meals
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
