PEDIATRIC GASTROENTEROLOGIST
Phoenix, Arizona
Our organization, one of the largest multi-specialty medical practices in the Metropolitan Phoenix area, is collaborating with a prominent health center to recruit a full-time Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist.
The health center is a comprehensive facility featuring a Level 1 Trauma/Burn Center, dedicated to delivering exceptional pediatric healthcare. It includes a Pediatric Emergency Department, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and a Pediatric Acute Care Unit. Additionally, there is a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Ambulatory Clinic offering both general pediatric and subspecialty services located near the hospital, along with several other FQHCs providing pediatric primary care throughout the city.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in pediatric gastrointestinal disorders, proficiency in a wide range of pediatric GI endoscopic and procedural techniques, as well as strong teaching abilities and effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a team.
We welcome applications from both experienced physicians and recent Fellows. Candidates requiring visa sponsorship (J-1 waiver and/or H1B) will also be considered.
While proficiency in Spanish is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement. Our organization is a non-profit multi-specialty physician group dedicated to serving the underserved communities in Maricopa County. The health center is a teaching facility that supports nine residency programs, with our physicians serving as core faculty. The Pediatric Residency program is jointly managed with a local children's hospital. We also maintain affiliations with the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Phoenix, and Creighton Medical School, Phoenix Campus.
