About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join their executive leadership team. The CTO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in enterprise technology, research computing, artificial intelligence initiatives, cybersecurity, data platforms, and digital transformation. This role requires the development and execution of a multi-year technology and AI strategy that aligns with the organization's scientific and operational priorities. The successful candidate will also establish governance frameworks, lead advanced research computing capabilities, and partner with scientific and administrative leaders to ensure that technology supports the mission of the organization. Applicants for the CTO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master’s or Ph.D., and at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in information technology or related disciplines. The role demands a deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud architectures, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, data governance, analytics, and AI/ML platforms. The CTO will be expected to have a proven track record in developing and executing enterprise technology strategies, leading technology transformation, and managing complex technology environments. Strong financial and business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels are essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience in building and leading high-performing technology teams and a passion for leveraging technology to advance scientific discovery and organizational impact.
