Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room environment, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow during surgical procedures. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and collaborate closely with surgical teams.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
  
  
• 
  Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals and respond to any intraoperative emergencies.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile environment and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
  
  
• 
  Document all patient interactions and surgical details accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Support postoperative care and patient recovery protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with current state licensure.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of perioperative or operating room nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Complete PeriOp 101 certification and demonstrate trauma and ortho experience.
  
  
• 
  Be certified in CPR and ACLS.
  
  
• 
  Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• 
  Show flexibility to work day shifts and on-call responsibilities.
