Job Summary North Central Surgical Center, an accredited Baylor Scott & White affiliated hospital in Dallas, TX, is seeking a full‑time Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team. Hospital Information Opened in 2005, North Central offers 14 operating rooms and 30 medical/surgical patient rooms. It is located at Walnut Hill & 75 in the NorthPark area and specializes in Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, and Podiatry. The facility is managed by United Surgical Partners International and is Joint Commission accredited. Responsibilities Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, set up and maintain a sterile field for minor and major surgical procedures. Apply knowledge of specialized instruments, equipment, and supplies utilized in the Operating Room. Organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for easy access and maximum efficiency. Participate in a rotational call system as needed to provide continuous availability of patient services. Follow appropriate guidelines for setting up the sterile field and instruments for designated procedures. Maintain current knowledge of procedures performed in the Operating Room. Restock Operating Room supplies as caseload permits. Assist the circulating nurse in maintaining physician preference cards. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of one year of Operating Room CST experience. CST certification (required). Current BLS certification. Preferred: one year of experience in Total Joint, Complex Spine, and Arthroscopy.
