Clinical Nurse - Pediatric ER, Part Time

Role Overview Provides direct patient care in a pediatric trauma center emergency department, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively, ensuring effective communication across care teams. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers. Participates in activities to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development. Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), RN licensure, with 2 years of pediatric or emergency department experience desirable. No supervisory experience required.
